It doesn’t matter how great our opportunity is or how superior our product line is, without the proper tools in place it is more than likely that you will fail. Think about it, most of the home business entrepreneurs have little or no experience in running a business.
I’ve found over the course of my own home business experience that when I provide access to tools and knowledge to my prospects I recruit more people and of those people I have less attrition.
At this point if you are relatively new to network marketing you may be wondering what exactly you need to start a home business. It’s not as simple as paying your fee and raking in the money. You must have certain tools in place before you get started with your primary business before you invest in what will be your primary business.
Some of the primary things you need to think about before you plunge in are how you will collect information from those people that are interested in your products and business opportunity.
How will you disburse information to your prospects? Are you going to be a slave to the phone? Are you going to be constantly in your email answering your prospects questions?
And what about advertising? If you don’t know how to advertise what you offer you will probably go broke trying to get your message out there to those who may have an interest.
As daunting as these problems may seem there is a simple solution. The key is to provide access to these tools and promote your primary business as a secondary resource to your prospects. By providing the knowledge and resources first you will also be building trust with your prospects and portraying yourself as an expert which will give you credibility.
Another advantage is that you will also be creating multiple streams of income by promoting your business tools (through your affiliate accounts) which will afford you the necessary income to promote yourself and your business opportunity as well as your product line.
Use your own common sense when making choices about getting into the home based business arena. If you are able to provide the necessary tools to help someone in any business you will gain their trust as well as set yourself apart from the others in this industry. Knowledge really is the key to success and when you provide knowledge you become the expert.
